The Franklin is a iconic trip that will be heaps of fun and an amazing journey.
Plan is to leave early on Saturday the 12th of January 2019 for a 10-12 day trip. This is contingent on water levels and conditions so this may be pushed back 1-4 days if it means better conditions.
This is a challenging wilderness trip which requires a solid level of fitness and wilderness experience. For that reason I am reserving the right to select people based on experience and ability. At this point I am limiting the trip to 10 people including guides (2 rafts of 5).
Trip Costs: (short answer, $600 – $900 per person depending).
We will hire a van to transport us back from the get out. We need to pay for the yacht out which is $310 per person. Depending on the number of people and the cost of these things I would expect the trip to cost around $600-$900 per person including meals for every day of the trip etc.
Gear List: (many things may be borrowed so get in touch if concerned)
Clothes and shoes for on river
Dry warm clothes for camp
Personal hygiene items
Any questions let me know! Closer to the date for the trip I will get in touch with interested people with more details. For that reason if you are interested in coming please let me know asap!
